01Who you are contracting with
cadssistant is operated by Roman Kot, a sole trader registered in the Polish CEIDG register. In these terms “we” and “us” mean that trader, and “you” means the person or organisation holding the account.

02What the service does
cadssistant is an assistant that runs inside AutoCAD as a palette. You describe what you want in plain language; a language model interprets it and issues commands that run on your machine, in your AutoCAD session, against the drawing you have open.
Two consequences follow from that design, and you should read them as part of what you are agreeing to:
- Changes to your drawings are real and immediate. The assistant draws, edits and deletes objects the same way you would. Undo works as it always does, but we cannot reverse a change for you — we never hold a copy of your drawing file.
- Model output is not verified. Language models make mistakes, including confident ones. Everything the assistant produces is a draft for you to check. cadssistant is not engineering, architectural, surveying or legal advice, and must not be treated as a substitute for professional judgement or for your own review and approval process.
Running arbitrary JavaScript against your session is gated behind an explicit approval prompt. Approving it is your decision and your responsibility.
03Your account
You need an account to use cadssistant. Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
One account is for one person. Sharing credentials across a team is not permitted — if you need multiple seats, contact us. Signing in from a new place signs you out elsewhere; that is intentional.
You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.
04Trial
New accounts start on a trial: 7 days or 50 messages, whichever runs out first. No card is required and the clock starts with your first message, not at sign-up.
When the trial ends nothing is locked and nothing is charged. Your account continues in Standard mode with a reduced monthly allowance, served by a smaller model, until you choose to subscribe.
05Subscriptions, billing and tax
- Plans. Pro and Max are billed monthly or annually in advance. Current prices are shown on our pricing section and at checkout.
- Tax. Prices are quoted excluding VAT and sales tax. Any tax due is calculated and added at checkout based on the billing address you provide. Business customers in the EU outside Poland can enter a valid VAT number to be zero-rated under the reverse-charge mechanism.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and we do not pro-rate a refund of the remainder.
- Changing plan. Upgrades and downgrades between plans and billing intervals are handled in the subscription portal and are pro-rated automatically.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we retry for a short period, during which your access continues. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and the account returns to the limited allowance.
- Price changes.We may change prices, but not for a period you have already paid for. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects your renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Payments and invoicing are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
06Fair use and limits
Plans are metered in messages— the requests you send. The assistant’s own follow-up steps while it completes a task are not counted. Each message is sent in a mode, which is how much effort you ask us to spend on it, and the heavier modes count for more than one message because they cost several times more to serve: a Heavy message counts as 3, and an Extreme message as 5. A Standard message counts as one.
- Pro: 300 messages per calendar month, in Standard mode.
- Max: 900 messages per calendar month, including access to the Heavy and Extreme modes.
Monthly allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month (UTC) and do not roll over.
There is also a daily limit — 60 messages a day on Pro and 120 on Max, resetting at midnight UTC. It exists to contain runaway scripts and compromised sessions, not to restrict normal work: ordinary use does not come close to it, and it cannot be bought through. We mention it here because it is the only place it is documented.
We may also apply short-term rate limits to protect the service. If you have a legitimate workload that these limits get in the way of, contact us rather than working around them.
07Refunds and the right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because cadssistant is digital content supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to request that we start the service straight away and to acknowledge that doing so ends that right once access begins. Ticking that box is what makes the subscription available to you immediately; if you would rather keep the withdrawal period, do not subscribe, and contact us instead.
Outside that, subscriptions are non-refundable, and the trial exists so you can evaluate the product before paying. That said, we would rather have a fair outcome than a technically correct one — if something went wrong, write to [email protected] and we will look at it.
Statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including those of consumers in Poland and the EU, are unaffected by anything in these terms.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service unlawfully, or to infringe someone else's rights;
- share, resell or sublicense your access, or use one account for several people;
- attempt to extract, resell or rebuild the underlying models, prompts or tooling, or use the service to build a competing product;
- circumvent metering, rate limits, mode gating or the approval prompt;
- submit content you have no right to submit, or personal data you have no lawful basis to share;
- probe, load-test or disrupt the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
cadssistant is scoped to CAD work. We may suspend or close accounts that breach this clause; where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
09Your content and ours
Your drawings and conversations remain yours. We claim no ownership of anything you create with cadssistant, and no rights in your drawings. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to process your messages and the drawing data they reference, including sending them to the model provider we route the request to, and to store your conversation history so you can come back to it. How that works is set out in our privacy policy.
We do not use your content to train models. Output produced by the assistant is yours to use, subject to the terms of the model provider involved.
The software, interface and branding are ours and stay ours. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for as long as your account is active.
10Availability and change
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and AutoCAD or model-vendor changes can all interrupt it.
The models behind each mode change as providers release, reprice and retire them, and we may change which model serves a mode without notice — that is what buying an effort level rather than a model name means. What will not change silently is the deal itself: if a change materially reduces what your plan offers, we will tell you by email before it takes effect and you may cancel.
cadssistant is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Autodesk, and AutoCAD is Autodesk’s trademark. You need your own valid AutoCAD licence.
11Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost drawings, business interruption, or indirect or consequential loss.
Where we are liable, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer law.
Because the assistant edits live drawings, keep backups and review its work before you rely on it. That is your responsibility, not ours.
12Ending the agreement
You can stop using cadssistant and close your account at any time. Closing it deletes your conversations; see the privacy policy for what is retained afterwards and for how long.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, we will refund the unused portion of any period you have paid for.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. If you do not, cancel before the date given.
14Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Poland, and the courts of Poland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings there.
Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform. We would much rather you emailed us first: [email protected].
